We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our expanding remote team. Position Overview As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing all outgoing payments while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company financial policies.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors and suppliers
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Communicate with vendors regarding billing and payment inquiries
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations
Requirements
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of accounts payable or related experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Must be a US resident
