Business Analyst (Hyphen)
Healthfirst is a healthcare organization seeking a Hyphen Process Specialist who will be responsible for preparing documentation for health and social care data ingestion and transformation. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to translate their needs into technology requirements while ensuring high client satisfaction through quality work.
Responsibilities
- Independently perform, analyze and document data profiling, source to target mapping, transformation logic specifications and process design for Hyphen product capabilities
- Develop test cases and perform user and system testing
- Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technology requirements
- Collaborate with development and QA teammates to ensure that solutions align with business requirements
- Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and business audiences
- Develop business process flows and detailed design documentation
- Assist in reporting and presenting requirements and possible approaches
- Collaborate with development, QA, and business teammates to identify and communicate risks, challenges, and blockers
- Additional duties as assigned
Skills
- Associates degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience
- HS Diploma or GED from an Accredited Institution
- Demonstrated ability to remain organized, self-motivated and able to meet project deadlines with minimal supervision
- Empathetic listener, effective in interpersonal communications
- Rigorous attention to detail, demonstrated ability to write clear, concise communications and documentation demonstrating proper grammar, correct spelling and punctuation
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; working knowledge of Visio or other diagramming/design software
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a matrix-management environment
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Healthcare experience
