Experienced Data Science Manager – IG Ranking DS Group

Job Responsibilities:

As a Data Science Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the IG Ranking DS group, focusing on delivery and rating for various features such as Connected Feed, Stories, Sharesheet, Notes, and Comments. Your primary objectives will include:

• Developing goal metrics and evaluating product team performance to ensure alignment with careerzynith's strategic objectives
• Investigating ad-hoc issues and debugging regressions to maintain the integrity of our products
• Developing testing plans and validating statistically accurate results to inform product development decisions
• Reporting to careerzynith and Meta stakeholders, coordinating across the company to ensure seamless collaboration
• Analyzing data trends to identify opportunities and drive product strategy, prioritizing impactful work to maximize results
• Ensuring product method has actionable dimension plans through growing aim metrics and comparing product group performance
• Determining methods to apply statistics as a strategic asset in product development, ensuring reliability and rigor throughout all products
• Partnering with Data Engineering to ensure the proper metrics are created and validated for accuracy
• Overseeing the building/preserving of reports, dashboards, and metrics to screen the overall performance of our products
• Ensuring we have the best logging, tables, and dashboards to measure product success
• Developing new metrics with accuracy and stability, validating metric accuracy for internal and external reporting

Minimum Qualifications:

* 3+ years of experience in handling different group contributors in a professional or casual capacity

• Experience in starting and using initiatives to completion with minimum guidance
• Experience in crisply and clearly speaking the effects of evaluation to an executive audience
• Experience in related and unrelated rating

Preferred Qualifications:

* Understanding of statistical evaluation and causal inference in an experimentation setting

• Experience with big data sets
