Finance Manager, Live Services Revenue Forecasting
Job Description:
- Support revenue forecasting and financial analysis across the PlayStation Studios live services portfolio.
- Maintain and enhance forecasting models, leveraging new methodologies and automation tools where appropriate.
- Support key financial planning cycles, including annual planning, quarterly forecasts, budgeting, and mid-range planning.
- Analyze game performance and communicate insights, trends, opportunities, and risks to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Develop scenario analyses and business cases related to monetization strategies, promotions, content plans, and investment decisions.
- Partner with studio, product management, analytics, and live operations teams to align forecasting assumptions and reporting.
- Evaluate the financial impact of licensing, marketing, development, and operational costs on portfolio performance.
- Contribute to process improvements that increase forecasting accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive benchmarks within gaming and live services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced finance certifications are a plus.
- 7–10 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, FP&A, or related finance functions.
- Experience in gaming, entertainment, technology, or subscription/live service business models preferred.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Experience with forecasting automation tools, machine learning applications, or advanced analytics methodologies is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Collaborative approach with experience working across cross-functional and global teams.
- Interest in gaming, digital entertainment, and live service business models.
