Financial Systems Accountant
LHH is supporting a client with a national search for our client. We are looking for someone with a Senior Accountant background, but someone more interested in Systems – you will be the advocate from within the Accounting department for the software Implementation across US and Canada (expected to take 2-3 years). You will partner with IT and the Systems implementation project Management team to get the system set up, mapped, new processes, and reporting the best they can be! After that time, the job will morph into various systems administration and implementations, updates and upgrades, Finance Systems Business Analyst $90-105K + bonus of 20%

This job in a nutshell:
- Participate in Project Management of ERP Implementation in partnership with IT department, representing the needs of the Accounting and Finance teams
- Support the new JDE system implementation in multiple geographies
- Tell the developers how to map, functionality from an Accounting function use
- Partner with IT to influence system design, application analysis, and solution reviews, ensuring alignment with finance processes and controls
- Plan, develop, and execute testing activities, including test scripts, test data, unit testing, integration testing, UAT coordination, and issue resolution
- In down cycles, this role may revert to helping out in Accounting; After 3 years of implementation, the role will retain a focus on Financial Systems, but may also have some Accounting responsibilities
We are looking for (key requirements/preferences):
- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance
- 3-5 years of relevant experience and has been a Senior Accountant
- Inventory Accounting knowledge
- Manufacturing or Distribution industry experience
- Has experience helping through implementation of JDE, (9.1 or 9.2), Netsuite, or Oracle
- Must have working knowledge of Accounting process flow
