Full Stack Engineer with AI, Angular, Azure and .NET | Local to Washington ONLY
Job Title: Application Developer (Full Stack .NET / AI / Azure) Location: Remote (Must currently reside in Washington State) Duration: 3–6 Month Contract-to-Hire IV Process: Video Interview Position Overview Client is seeking Application Developers (Junior to Senior level) to join a team focused on modernizing and rebuilding a large-scale enterprise application platform. This role offers the opportunity to work across full-stack development, AI integration, cloud infrastructure, and DevSecOps while helping redesign and rewrite an existing codebase using modern technologies and best practices. The ideal candidate is passionate about software craftsmanship, takes ownership of solution delivery, and can contribute across development, AI enablement, and cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the modernization and complete rewrite of legacy applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using C#/.NET.
- Build and enhance Angular-based front-end applications.
- Develop and integrate AI-powered solutions using modern AI platforms and agentic frameworks.
- Write Python code for AI and agent-based workflows.
- Design and deliver end-to-end solutions spanning UI, APIs, AI services, data, and cloud infrastructure.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence within Azure environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure code quality, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Contribute to DevSecOps practices and cloud-native application delivery.
Required Qualifications
Core Development Skills
- Strong experience with C# and .NET backend development.
- Experience designing and building REST APIs.
- Angular front-end development experience.
- Full-stack application development experience.
- Strong focus on software quality, maintainability, and best practices.
AI & Agentic Development
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications.
Hands-on experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as:
- MCP (Model Context Protocol)
- LangChain
- Similar agent orchestration frameworks
- Experience developing Python-based AI solutions.
- Familiarity with vector databases such as:
- Azure Cosmos DB
- Pinecone
- Ability to build solutions that interact with AI services and LLM platforms.
Cloud & DevOps
- Azure cloud experience.
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including:
- Cluster deployment
- Operations and maintenance
- Azure networking
- Exposure to DevSecOps principles and operational support.
- Interest in cloud operations and supporting production workloads.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Snowflake technologies, including Snowflake Cortex AI.
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry.
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Experience building cloud-native and AI-enabled enterprise applications.
- Experience designing complete end-to-end technical solutions rather than individual components.
