- *Role Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end spatial projects using QGIS, from data acquisition to final map outputs.
- Document workflows and reasoning during spatial data processing and analysis tasks.
- Clean, organize, and validate spatial datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Manage coordinate systems, projections, and spatial references for optimal data interoperability.
- Design and style map layers for clarity, usability, and professional presentation.
- Create advanced layouts and cartographic outputs while explaining design decisions.
- Troubleshoot GIS challenges and document problem-solving approaches within workflows.
- *Requirements
- Strong experience in QGIS with the ability to manage complete GIS projects independently.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality spatial analyses and geospatial outputs.
- Strong understanding of spatial data formats, coordinate systems, and GIS principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain workflows and technical decisions.
- Strong data cleaning, organization, and transformation skills in GIS environments.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues in GIS workflows.
- Ability to work independently in a remote and collaborative environment.
