HealthTech Venture Advisor
About the position AI Nexus NYC is seeking experienced HealthTech Venture Advisors to support a growing portfolio of AI companies operating across healthcare, digital health, biotech, therapeutics, clinical workflows, life sciences, and research infrastructure. This role is designed for healthcare operators, founders, executives, clinicians, innovation leaders, and industry experts who want to work directly with early-stage companies and help accelerate growth. Advisors will partner with founders and venture teams to provide strategic guidance, facilitate introductions, support customer discovery, create pilot opportunities, and accelerate commercialization efforts.
Responsibilities
- Advise founders and early-stage companies on healthcare market dynamics, product strategy, commercialization, and industry adoption
- Facilitate introductions to health systems, providers, payers, pharma organizations, biotech companies, research institutions, investors, and potential customers
- Support portfolio companies with pilot design, customer discovery, partnership development, commercialization efforts, and go-to-market strategy
- Provide expertise across clinical workflows, healthcare operations, digital health, life sciences, reimbursement, enterprise sales, and adoption
- Participate in founder office hours, advisory sessions, venture reviews, workshops, and AI Nexus programming
- Help identify strategic partnerships, customer opportunities, pilot programs, and commercialization pathways for portfolio companies
- Act as a connector within the NYC healthcare and life sciences ecosystem
- Support venture teams as they move from concept validation to pilot execution, customer acquisition, and commercial deployment
