Java Developer Location: Fort Worth, TX Hybrid (2 Days Remote 3 Days Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Rate: W2 46/hr or 52/hr C2C
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support applications using NodeJS, React, and TypeScript.
- Build new applications and maintain existing systems including bug fixes, enhancements, and performance tuning.
- Design scalable and reliable solutions for production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, specifications, and timelines.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and security best practices.
- Work with operations teams to ensure smooth deployments and production support.
- Conduct root cause analysis and drive improvements in system performance and reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practices.
Additional Expectations
- Strong focus on scalability, latency, and system durability.
- Experience managing technical debt and improving system architecture.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to research and implement new technologies and prototypes.
- Provide on-call production support when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related technical field.
- Airline industry experience is a plus.
