We are seeking a New York State Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our team. This role is ideal for a clinician passionate about working with older adults aged 55 and older, helping them manage anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and health-related concerns. What You Will Do
- Provide individual therapy to older adults, addressing issues related to aging, health concerns, grief, depression, and life transitions
- Conduct culturally competent assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards
- Participate in regular supervision to ensure professional growth and high-quality care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive client support
Are You Someone Who Has
- A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work
- Active New York State license as an LMSW (required)
- Experience working with older adults in a clinical setting (ages 55+) (required)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a warm and empathetic therapeutic style
- Experience with evidence-based treatments for anxiety, depression, and grief (preferred)
