• What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Assist with patients’ healthcare management and clinical procedures under the supervision of a licensed physician
• Perform vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy, and document in patient’s medical record
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation while adhering to regulatory guidelines
• Support patient needs by providing emotional support and creating a conducive climate for healing
• Participate in unit/clinic programs and meetings to contribute to team building and morale
• What is Required (Qualifications):
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Approved Medical Assistant Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience preferred, with additional experience required for higher levels
• Compliance with all State and Federal regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA
• How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• Additional certifications such as CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, or NRCMA
• Experience working in a healthcare setting with diverse patient populations
• Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide focused constructive feedback
