Payroll Subject Matter Expert

Insight Global is seeking a Payroll Generalist/SME to support a large-scale Dayforce implementation. This role is a hands-on contributor responsible for executing and supporting end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and successful system adoption. Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Dayforce payroll processing, testing, and reporting, and will play a key role in ensuring smooth payroll operations throughout implementation and beyond. Qualifications:

• 5-8+ years of payroll experience with strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes
• Hands-on experience working within Dayforce Payroll
• Experience supporting payroll audits, reporting, and output validation
• Proven ability to work in a hands-on, individual contributor role

Responsibilities: End-to-End Payroll Processing

• Execute and support full-cycle payroll processing within Dayforce
• Review and validate payroll outputs, ensuring accuracy across earnings, deductions, and taxes
• Troubleshoot payroll issues and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Dayforce Payroll Support

• Work directly within Dayforce to support payroll processing, audits, and reporting
• Ensure payroll data integrity across the system

Testing & Implementation Support

• Participate in payroll testing cycles (Unit, SIT, UAT, Parallel runs)
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution throughout implementation Reporting & Audits
• Generate and review payroll reports and outputs within Dayforce
• Support internal controls and documentation requirements

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with payroll, HR, Finance, and IT teams to support payroll operations
