Postgre SQL Developer (Remote) but Local to TX
Required Experience
- 5 years experience as a Database Developer or similar role.
- 5 years Strong hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL, including SQL, PL/pgSQL, stored procedures, triggers, indexing, and query optimization.
- 5 years Demonstrated experience working with large-scale, high-volume enterprise applications and mission critical data environments.
- 5 years Strong understanding of relational database design, normalization, and data modeling principles.
- 5 years Proficiency in performance tuning, execution plan analysis, and troubleshooting complex SQL behaviors.
- 5 years experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and collaborating on multi-disciplinary project delivery.
- 5 years Foster effective collaboration and communication within the project team, including developers, testers, and stakeholders. Actively participate in meetings, discussions, and code reviews to ensure alignment and efficient workflow.
- 5 years Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- 5 years Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple concurrent projects.
- 5 years Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience
- 1 Year Experience with ETL pipelines, data integration tools, and batch processing frameworks.
- 1 Year Familiarity with CI/CD processes and database deployment automation.
- 1 Year Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and managed PostgreSQL services.
- 1 Year Experience supporting government or public sector systems
