Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving security threats in the telecommunications landscape. Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered. 10+ years of experience in network engineering within the telecommunications sector, with a focus on large-scale network design and operations. Expert-level knowledge of IP networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, and segment routing. In-depth understanding of switching technologies, VLANs, and network hardware from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper). Strong experience with SDN/NFV concepts, technologies, and implementation. Familiarity with cloud networking environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with global teams. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE) are highly desirable. This is an exceptional opportunity to exert significant influence on global network architecture within a leading telecommunications firm, all from the comfort of a remote work setting.
