Programmer/Developer - Tableau
You will build Tableau reports and manage the end-to-end data lifecycle from ingestion to visualization.
Responsibilities
- Develop Tableau reports including dynamic grouping, drill-down, summary, and cross-tab reports for deployment to report servers or SharePoint.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT solutions for data ingestion, cleansing, and distribution using SSIS or Talend.
- Build and maintain custom SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers using Microsoft T-SQL.
- Architect database structures, including relational data models, data marts, and data dictionaries.
- Manage data migration and integration from legacy systems to new platforms, including design validation and error handling.
- Optimize SSIS package execution and SQL query performance to improve data load speeds.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of professional IT experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau.
- 5+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries.
- 5+ years of expertise with T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, or Talend.
- Experience with SQL Server, DB2, and other database management systems.
- Experience deploying SSIS packages using Git check-in, environmental variables, and SQL Agent jobs.
- Experience with Team Foundation for version control.
- Proficiency in debugging and improving query performance.
- Ability to manage file transfers via FTP/SFTP.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Experience with MuleSoft.
