[Remote] 1031 Exchange Business Development Manager

Leader Bank is looking for exceptionally dedicated team members to join one of the country’s fastest growing community banks and mortgage lenders. The 1031 Exchange Business Development Manager will source new business for the 1031 Qualified Intermediary, establishing and building long-term relationships with clients in an entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
- Create business opportunities through self-sourcing clients suited for 1031 exchange and digital escrow services
- Leverage networks, centers of influence, and business development acumen to acquire business and build meaningful relationships
- Build a robust portfolio of national clients and manage the relationships until services are delivered and beyond
- Work with clients on IRC Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges and manage their own portfolio of transactions
- Use deep industry knowledge to gain new business and ensure client satisfaction
- Develop new relationships by providing seminars on IRC Section 1031 to attorneys and real estate professionals
Skills
- 15+ years' experience in and industry knowledge of 1031 exchange business
- 15+ years' experience in business development and relationship management, including gaining new deposit business
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong presentation skills
