[Remote] AI Engineer

They are seeking an AI Engineer to design and deploy AI-powered applications, develop scalable data pipelines, and integrate machine learning models into production workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications on modern enterprise data platforms
- Develop scalable data pipelines, semantic data models, and operational decision-support solutions
- Integrate machine learning models into production business workflows
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate complex operational challenges into scalable software solutions
- Build high-quality, maintainable code and contribute to architecture decisions
- Participate in code reviews and mentor engineering best practices
- Ensure solutions meet performance, security, governance, and reliability standards
- Drive continuous improvement of AI-enabled products and platforms
- Stay current on emerging AI, software engineering, and data platform technologies
Skills
- 5–10+ years of software engineering experience with exposure to AI/ML systems (hiring across multiple levels)
- Strong hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry and its application development ecosystem
- Experience building operational applications, data models, workflows, and data pipelines within Foundry
- Advanced Python development skills
- Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, data engineering, and scalable application architecture
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and MLOps best practices
- Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience building AI solutions that support planning, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, scheduling, or enterprise operations
- Experience designing and deploying high-availability, production-grade applications
- Familiarity with microservices, APIs, and modern cloud architectures
- Experience working within regulated or large-scale enterprise environments
