Remote Animator – Game UI
This role involves creating a high-polish 'YOU WIN' icon and celebration animations for a promotional game designed for live play on a large digital screen, controlled via iPad. The artist will design a visually striking win icon with space for dynamic prize text, subtle motion effects, and two animation versions (standard and elevated win). The artwork must feature a dimensional, casino-inspired look with rich gold and glossy effects, ensuring readability from a distance. Deliverables must be modular, organized, and high-resolution, with all assets prepared for seamless Unity integration. Reference images for style and quality will be provided to guide the creative process. Deliverables
- Design and deliver a main 'YOU WIN' icon with dynamic prize text area
- Create two animation versions: standard win and elevated win
- Apply subtle motion effects and high-polish, dimensional styling
- Provide layered source files (PSD and/or After Effects)
- Export animations as PNG sequences or sprite sheets with transparency
- Ensure all assets are modular, organized, and high-resolution
- Prepare files for Unity implementation (no Spine)
- Deliver assets suitable for commercial game use
Requirements
- Proven experience in animation and UI asset creation for games, preferably in casino or promotional game environments
- Strong proficiency with Photoshop and After Effects
- Demonstrated ability to create high-polish, dimensional artwork with glossy, gold effects
- Experience preparing assets for Unity, including sprite sheets and modular file organization
- Ability to follow provided style and quality references
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver organized, non-flattened source files
- Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Availability for a single project with potential for future work
