[Remote] Data Engineer

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and integration solutions using Azure services, as well as collaborating with various stakeholders to support analytics initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines and data integration solutions using Azure services
- Build and manage ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Develop scalable big data processing solutions using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Spark SQL
- Design and maintain enterprise data lakes using Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
- Develop and optimize data warehouses using Azure Synapse Analytics
- Perform data transformation, cleansing, validation, and enrichment activities
- Implement data modeling, partitioning, and performance optimization strategies
- Integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured data sources
- Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data quality and reliability
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, Architects, and business stakeholders to support reporting and analytics initiatives
- Implement security, governance, and compliance best practices for data platforms
