Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crossing Hurdles is looking for a Data Scientist to join their team. The role involves collecting and preprocessing datasets, developing statistical models, and conducting data analysis to provide actionable insights. The Data Scientist will also create visualizations and collaborate with teams to execute data science projects.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess diverse datasets to ensure accuracy and readiness for analysis
• Develop, validate, and implement statistical and predictive models to generate actionable insights
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities
• Create data visualizations and reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute end-to-end data science projects
• Improve analytical methodologies and automate data workflows to enhance efficiency
• Communicate data-driven findings and recommendations through clear written and verbal presentations

Skills

• Strong expertise in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis techniques
• Strong experience handling, cleaning, and analyzing large and complex datasets
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar tools for data manipulation and modeling
• Strong experience building and validating predictive and statistical models
• Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Matplotlib, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
