[Remote] Industrial Data Platform Engineer

They are seeking an Industrial Data Platform Engineer to design and implement historian data replication between on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring secure data transfer and integration with various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Replicating historian data from on-premise systems to a cloud-hosted historian
- Designing historian-to-historian replication between on-premise and cloud environments
- Experience with dataPARC-to-dataPARC replication, especially from on-premise dataPARC to cloud dataPARC
- Deploying, configuring, or supporting dataPARC/historian platforms in Azure or AWS
- Moving OT/SCADA/historian data securely from plant/site networks to the cloud
- Integrating third-party cloud platforms, such as FW Murphy Smart Compressor data, into a cloud historian
- Time-series data architecture, data quality, backfilling, latency, and synchronization
- Industrial cybersecurity and secure OT-to-cloud connectivity
Skills
- Industrial historians such as dataPARC, OSI PI, Canary, Aspen IP.21, Wonderware, or similar platforms
- Replicating historian data from on-premise systems to a cloud-hosted historian
- Designing historian-to-historian replication between on-premise and cloud environments
- Experience with dataPARC-to-dataPARC replication, especially from on-premise dataPARC to cloud dataPARC
- Deploying, configuring, or supporting dataPARC/historian platforms in Azure or AWS
- Moving OT/SCADA/historian data securely from plant/site networks to the cloud
- OT/SCADA systems and industrial data collection
- Industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA, OPC DA, MQTT, Modbus TCP, or similar
- Integrating third-party cloud platforms, such as FW Murphy Smart Compressor data, into a cloud historian
- Time-series data architecture, data quality, backfilling, latency, and synchronization
- Industrial cybersecurity and secure OT-to-cloud connectivity
- Oil & Gas, compression, pipeline, midstream, or power generation industry experience
