[Remote] Network Engineer (US)

BlackRock Resources LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to support enterprise networking initiatives focused on security, automation, and infrastructure modernization. The role involves designing and implementing next-generation network architectures while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across cloud, WAN, LAN, and wireless environments
- Lead the deployment and optimization of SASE, SD-WAN, ZTNA, and Secure Web Gateway solutions
- Develop and implement Software Defined Networking (SDN) and network automation strategies
- Create technical roadmaps and engineering designs that support long-term business objectives
- Collaborate with architecture, security, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver reliable and secure networking solutions
- Develop implementation plans, technical documentation, and network diagrams
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support for complex network incidents
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective network solutions
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on performance, security, and automation
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans for recurring issues
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to existing network environments
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering
- Extensive experience with SASE (Secure Access Service Edge)
- Extensive experience with SD-WAN
- Extensive experience with ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access)
- Extensive experience with Secure Web Gateway technologies
- Strong understanding of Software Defined Networking (SDN) and network automation
- Experience with Cisco routing, switching, and firewall technologies
- Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls
- Experience with Azure Cloud Networking
- Experience with MPLS networks
- Experience with BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS routing protocols
- Experience with VPN technologies and encryption protocols (IPSec, SSL, TLS)
- Experience with DNS and DHCP administration
- Experience creating network designs, implementation plans, and technical documentation
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- CCNP certification or equivalent networking certification
- Experience with network monitoring, observability, and AIOps platforms
- Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise network environments
