[Remote] Okta Security Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TekStream Solutions is seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer with expertise in Okta and Identity & Access Management (IAM) to enhance the security environment for a large client in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on securing information systems, maintaining identity infrastructure, and supporting security operations while minimizing operational impact.

Responsibilities

• Secure information systems through effective technical and procedural solutions
• Support architectural design and review new system implementations
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions
• Identify risks and provide mitigation strategies
• Enforce security controls, best practices, and process improvements
• Participate in incident response and security reviews
• Assess vulnerabilities and overall system risk
• Support policy, procedure, and security framework reviews
• Analyze system changes to minimize downtime and risk
• Mentor junior team members and advise stakeholders on security practices

Skills

• Hands-on experience with Okta
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, networking, and security architecture
• Experience with MFA, SSO, and access controls
• Integration experience with APIs and Microsoft Active Directory
• Familiarity with Cisco technologies
• Experience creating workflows and attestations
• Scripting skills
• Knowledge of SIEM, threat analysis, risk management, and vulnerability management
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences
