[Remote] Technical SEO Contractor (project-based)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mannix Marketing is looking for a Technical SEO Contractor to support their digital marketing team on a part-time basis. This role focuses on conducting technical SEO audits, resolving issues, and supporting site health for a portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical SEO audits and prioritize findings for client sites
- Identify and resolve crawlability, indexation, site speed, and structured data issues
- Support Core Web Vitals improvements in coordination with web development
- Monitor site performance using Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, or similar tools
- Build and maintain reporting in Looker Studio to communicate performance clearly
- Set up and troubleshoot conversion tracking, including tag management and goal configuration
- Document findings and recommendations clearly for internal strategy teams
Skills
- Hands-on experience with technical SEO across multiple client sites
- Proficiency with tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or DeepCrawl
- Working knowledge of HTML, structured data/schema markup, and crawl management
- Experience with conversion tracking setup and troubleshooting (Google Tag Manager, GA4)
- Familiarity with Looker Studio for building client-facing performance reports
- Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
- WordPress Experience Required
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills required for collaboration within a remote team environment
- Shopify Experience a Plus
