Salesforce Application Developer

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Salesforce Application Developer to join our innovative technology team. Your expertise will drive the integration of Salesforce with various IT infrastructure components, ensuring seamless functionality across platforms. Duties

• Develop, customize, and optimize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce tools to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems via RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, and other web services to ensure data consistency and operational efficiency.
• Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce workflows, triggers, and automation processes to improve system performance.
• Implement security protocols such as RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) to safeguard sensitive data within the platform.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications across different environments including Linux servers and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Utilize version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, and Git for source code management and collaboration within Agile development cycles.
• Support front-end development using JavaScript frameworks like React and Express to create intuitive user interfaces.
• Develop and maintain SQL databases including MySQL and SQL Server for data storage solutions supporting Salesforce integrations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by adopting best practices in software development, including application development standards in C#, C++, Python, VBA, and .NET technologies.

Experience

• Experience designing and implementing Licensing, Permitting & Inspections solutions using Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS)
• Hands-on expertise w/ Omnistudio; Omniscripts, Dataraptor, Integration Procedures to build scalable, user-friendly digital experiences and automation
• Exp w/ complex sharing models leveraging the following: sharing sets, sharing rules, roles, queues, public groups, case teams, and/or territories
• End-to-end data migration (mapping, transformation, load, validation) migrating data from legacy systems to Salesforce
• Salesforce Public Sector Solutions application intake, approvals, inspections, and compliance workflows
• Nice to Have:
• Experience w/data loading via Data Loader / CLI Data Loader
• Experience profiling legacy data (SQL queries, profiling tools) and Data cleansing, normalization, dedupe methodologies
• Experience executing migration runbooks in production.
• Experience with Copado, SAFe Agile
• Certifications: Certified Salesforce Developer and Certified Salesforce Administrator

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
