Senior Mortgage Loan Processor
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Mortgage Loan Processor to join our growing team. This position is responsible for managing residential mortgage loans from contract through closing, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for borrowers, Realtors, title companies, and loan officers. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of independently managing a pipeline of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans while maintaining excellent customer service and communication. ResponsibilitiesLoan Processing
- Manage mortgage files from contract through clear-to-close.
- Review loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Collect and organize borrower documentation including income, assets, employment, and credit-related items.
- Submit complete loan files to underwriting.
- Review underwriting approvals and coordinate satisfaction of all conditions.
- Maintain compliance with investor, agency, and company guidelines.
Communication & Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers after loan application.
- Provide regular status updates to borrowers, Realtors, loan officers, title companies, and insurance agents.
- Coordinate appraisals, title work, homeowner's insurance, and other third-party services.
- Ensure all parties are informed of milestones and anticipated closing dates.
Closing Management
- Monitor closing timelines and ensure all conditions are cleared on schedule.
- Coordinate with title companies and closing agents to facilitate timely closings.
- Review closing disclosures and final documents for accuracy.
- Assist with funding and post-closing follow-up as needed.
Pipeline Management
- Effectively manage multiple loans simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and service standards.
- Meet company turn-time expectations and closing deadlines.
- Identify and resolve potential issues before they impact closing.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 3-5 years of mortgage processing experience.
- Strong knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan programs.
- Experience managing loans from contract to close with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency with mortgage LOS systems and mortgage technology platforms.
Preferred
- Experience working for a mortgage broker or correspondent lender.
- Knowledge of Encompass or similar loan origination systems.
- Familiarity with Florida mortgage transactions.
- Experience supporting multiple loan officers.

Compensation
Compensation is based on experience and may include a combination of base salary and production incentives. Pay: From $50,000.00 per year Work Location: Remote
