Solution Architect ECAD (m/f/d)

As an Integration Solution Architect for ECAD and PLM systems, you will design integration solutions and coordinate their technical implementation, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and high-performance integration within existing IT landscapes. You will translate functional and technical requirements into robust architectures and define interfaces in alignment with established standards and best practices. In this role, you will take responsibility for integration solutions—from requirements analysis to commissioning—while coordinating technical teams and aligning stakeholders. Acting as the central point of contact, you will support the integration of the solution into existing systems, assist with testing and deployment, and contribute to the continuous evolution of the solution over its lifecycle. This position requires strong expertise in ECAD and PLM systems, solid programming knowledge, and a structured, customer-focused mindset combined with excellent communication skills. What you can expect You will design customized integration solutions between ECAD and PLM systems, focusing on scalability, maintainability and performance. Based on functional and technical requirements, you will develop viable integration concepts and system architectures that align with existing IT landscapes You will define interfaces, coordinate technical implementation teams and ensure that architectural principles, quality standards and best practices are adhered to In close coordination with customers and internal stakeholders, you will oversee the solution throughout its entire life cycle, from requirements analysis to implementation and commissioning You will take on technical project responsibility, assist with architecture reviews and ensure the solution is sustainably documented and developed further You will also be the main contact for integrating the solution into existing systems, supporting teams with qualifications, testing and support remotely or on-site What you bring with you A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable qualification from a university or technical college Knowledge of .NET, C++, Java, C#, COM/COM+, XML, and ideally Ruby and the corresponding frameworks Several years' experience working with PLM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter or Oracle Agile Several years' experience working with ECAD systems such as Altium Designer, Siemens PADS, Cadence OrCAD, Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN Electric or others Independent, structured and solution-oriented approach to work, with a strong focus on customer needs Excellent communication skills in German and English (fluency in both written and spoken) We offer you You will work in an experienced team and have the opportunity to contribute your ideas and suggestions, help shape processes and actively contribute to the further development of our solutions We offer you an attractive salary and comprehensive social benefits Organize your work around your needs, whether in the office or from home, and we will help you to optimally balance work and family life We enjoy celebrating our successes together at regular employee events We care about your health.
