Job Description
This is a remote position. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos that align with our brand vision and content goals across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into engaging, high-quality videos
- Add transitions, effects, text, subtitles, and background music
- Create short-form and long-form videos for social media, YouTube, and marketing campaigns
- Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and storytelling standards
- Retouch and enhance video quality (color correction, audio sync, etc.)
- Collaborate with content creators, educators, and the marketing team
- Develop creative concepts and visual storytelling approaches
- Make revisions based on feedback and ensure the timely delivery of projects
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines consistently
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in video editing or similar role
- Basic understanding of video composition, storytelling, color, and typography
- Hands-on experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign
- Ability to work with different media formats and editing styles
- Strong creative thinking and attention to detail
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to take feedback positively and iterate quickly
- A strong portfolio showcasing previous video editing work
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or related field
- Experience in social media content creation (Reels, Shorts, Ads)
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animations
