Project Manager, Platform Initiatives & Ops

The Project Manager will analyze operational and payment data, maintain dashboards, and drive initiatives to optimize payment processing workflows, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to enhance efficiency and resolve challenges.
Responsibilities
- Leverage Excel, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), and/or SQL to analyze operational data, maintain dashboards, and present findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to scope, prioritize, and execute data-informed operational projects, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Identify and recommend process improvements based on data insights to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in payment processing
- Leverage AI-assisted development (using AI prompting tools like Codex, Gemini, or ChatGPT) to design and troubleshoot dashboards, queries, and datasets
Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in working with operational data
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic to intermediate formulas
- Proficiency in AI Tools - (using LLMs like Gemini or Codex) as a primary tool for technical problem-solving, lightweight code generation, and process optimization
- Experience with a data visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker; SQL skills a plus
- Interest in payments, financial services, or transaction processing
- A willingness to dive in and take ownership
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and think proactively
- Understanding of ACH, card processing, or banking operations is a bonus
