[Remote] IT Project Manager Contractor

Deloitte is a leading professional services firm, and they are seeking an IT Project Manager Contractor to support IT remediation initiatives. The role involves coordinating activities across teams, maintaining project plans, and ensuring timely delivery of IT projects in a complex client environment.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects and remediation initiatives
• Develop and maintain project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and milestones
• Track open asks, prioritize workstreams, and help maintain delivery momentum
• Coordinate with stakeholders across Cyber and Infrastructure/Technology Strategy to align on scope, ownership, and dependencies
• Support resolution of identified issues, including coordination on closure activities and follow-through on action items
• Apply technical understanding of IT infrastructure to assess issues and support practical remediation planning
• Identify, document, and track risks, blockers, issues, and dependencies; escalate when needed
• Prepare clear and regular status updates covering progress, risks, blockers, decisions, and next steps
• Facilitate meetings, ensure action items are captured, and follow through to closure
• Partner with delivery teams to support practical remediation strategies and help ensure delivery remains within scope, schedule, and budget

Skills

• Strong technical understanding of IT infrastructure and remediation planning
• Experience handling issues, risks, dependencies, and delivery in complex environments
• Excellent project coordination, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills
• Ability to work across multiple teams and support accountability to closure
• Cyber Strategy, Infrastructure Security, Project Management, and Threat Assessment & Remediation Analysis at intermediate to advanced levels
