[Remote] Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Optomi is partnering with a leading organization to find a Project Manager for a 6 month contract to hire position. The Project Manager will lead multiple concurrent Business and Product projects, ensuring adherence to PMO best practices and driving program success.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and control project schedules ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget
- Lead and communicate program/project scope, goals, and responsibilities
- Establish clear project sponsor and stakeholder expectations
- Proactively manage program tollgates, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Develop and maintain reporting procedures and monitor performance in project control activities
Skills
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience
- Proficiency in project management software tools and MS Office suite
- Solid understanding of PMO, SDLC, and governance best practices
- Vendor management experience
- PMP preferred
