[Remote] Senior Software Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to participate in research and development of product features, ensuring systems are performant, scalable, secure, and maintainable.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the product managers and engineers in design and implementation of product enhancements and bug fixes
- Analyze platform architecture and understand customer deployments to identify potential functional or performance issues and solutions to address those
- Build and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot complex issues in clusters, applications, and services
- Improve the engineering tools and processes in the team
- Work as part of a globally distributed engineering team in a fast-paced environment with ambitious goals
Skills
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 5+ years of experience OR Master's Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Go, Ruby, JavaScript, Java or C++ with the ability to quickly ramp up and contribute to a large polyglot codebase
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles with practical experience building and managing pipelines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to solving complex challenges
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, applying them effectively during collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with the software development lifecycle, including writing unit tests, debugging, and participating in code reviews
- (Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.)
- Experience with AI coding assistants
- Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure, including public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform), Kubernetes tooling (Helm), and observability stacks (Prometheus and Grafana)
